INTRODUCTION
"Jinchuuriki" meaning the "power of human sacrifice", are those individuals possessing tailed demons within their bodies. The demons themselves are known by the number of tails their body possesses, and each has different characteristics.

"Ichibi" (Shukaku) is the One-Tailed Tanuki
"Nibi" is the Two-Tailed Cat
"Sanbi" is the Three-Tailed Turtle
"Yonbi" is a Four-Tailed Ape
"Gobi" is a Five-Tailed Horse-Whale
"Rokubi" is a Six-Tailed Gastropod
"Shichibi" is a Seven-Tailed Rhino Beetle
"Hachibi" is the Eight-Tailed Ox-Cephalopod
"Kyuubi" is the Nine-Tailed Fox

The hope of Jinchuuriki creation is for the human and the tailed beast to resonate together, thereby granting the human some measure of their immense power. Each beast appears to interact with their host in unique ways, and grant their host power in different amounts. The life of a Jinchuuriki has been seen to be a difficult one. Many see the Jinchuuriki as the demon itself, and fear and shun them. This causes many to become dejected outcasts who become angry with the world.

SUMMARY OF HISTORY
After the Fourth Great War known as the “Battle of Demons” the Five Great Nations sat down together and decided on mutual peace and stability between their boarders. Each was allocated a Bijuu as a sign of peace and comradery amongst nations. The only known and tested way to contain a bijuu and harness the power to a formalised weapon was to create a 'jinchuuriki'. This unimaginable power proved difficult to manage however, requiring literal sacrifices to gain control. Though, several jutsu variations were created and used to seal a bijuu within a human. If a village had a jinchuuriki it meant that they were seen as a strong military nation, and by dividing these chakra monsters amongst the most powerful nations in the world it brought balance, or so they thought.

The nation leaders often sealed the bijuu into a trusted clan of the village or a trusted family as to solidify trust that the jinchuuriki would not betray the nation. In some nations, the jinchuuriki is sealed into the own kages family as to prevent betrayal. But, for the actual jinchuuriki it was incredibly tough to live a normal life. Many villagers shunned and belittled the jinchuuriki's seeing them as monsters, they were often misjudged and kept seperate by normal society. Also, villages misused and treated them like a weapon instead of a human being or shinobi and this caused some to run from the village and turn rogue in desperation. This coupled with nations becoming greeding and wanting to control and take other bijuu from other nations soon saw the balance from which they faught for slowly disappear. But a new player has come into the game, a organization known as Akatsuki. They plan to capture all the jinchuuriki for themselves and harness their great power for their own agenda.

ROLE ON NARUTO GENESIS
Jinchuuriki's play an important role on Naruto Genesis as they are seen as one of the major groups on the site. They a live a confused and dangerous life, being seen as a menace and monster by some, but then a great power and ultimately a trophy or prize by others. Not only do Jinchuuriki have to watch for external threads from the nations who want to use them as weapons and symbols for power, and the Akatsuki who want to capture and kill them, but, internal issues as well. The fact that within their body they house a one of the legendary 'nine' tailed beasts is a curse within itself. They need to learn to control the beast and not let it take control of their body. If the jinchuuriki isn't powerful enough the bijuu will take over their personality and characteristics and then eventually their entire body. But, if they can control the beast within them they will be granted with some truly magnificent abilities and unbelievable chakra.

So, as a jinchuuriki you are considered a blessing by some and a curse by others. Which road will you take and how will you view yourself?
